I will face GBM in the general elections-Kelvin Sampa

Patriotic Front aspiring candidate for the Kasama Central parliamentary seat Kelvin Sampa says he will now wait for the August 11th general election to contest the seat following yesterday’s High Court ruling in which the declaration of the Kasama seat vacant by Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini was nullified.

Mr. Sampa says the High Court ruling leaves much to be desired and wonders what precedent the court will set for future reference when people want to cross the floor of the house.
He says the matter has taken long time to be concluded and that it has been tedious for him as a candidate for the PF waiting for the by-election.

Mr. Sampa, however, states that he will not be taken aback by the High Court ruling because the general election is around the corner and that he is more than ready for the elections.
