Police arrest cadres for pulling down campaign posters

Police in Kasama are reportedly holding five UPND cadres who were found removing campaign posters belonging to the ruling Patriotic Front.

PF Kasama Central Parliamentary candidate Kelvin Sampa says the UPND cadres were caught by PF cadres who later took them to the Police station.

Mr. Sampa says it is hoped that this will serve as a lesson to would be offenders that it is in fact a criminal act to pull down another political party’s campaign material during an election.
